Social!
We will be sending a coach for x country day Saturday 4th
September departing central Hailsham at 7.30am prompt.
As in previous years we will take advantage of the group booking procedure on
line and order the tickets which has to be done prior to 15th August.
To take advantage of these rates we have based the ticket prices, which includes
coach return and entry as follows -
£26 per person
£14 for a child of 12 or under as entry into Burghley is free provided if they are accompanied by an adult.
Tickets will sell fast we are sure so if you wish to register your
interest please ring Steve on 01323 485580 or 07815759488 and advise
how many tickets and if any are 12 and under.
As usual the coach will have full toilet facilities but will not stop
in either direction. There will plenty of space for all wet weather
gear (hopefully not needed!) and those all important shopping
purchases!
Please note we must leave the showground by no later than 5.30pm for the driver to complete the journey within his allotted time and it is essential everyone is aware of this criteria!
Barn Dance
To be held on Saturday
16th October at Selmeston Village Hall at 7.30pm.
Dancing
will be to live band Rattlebone, ticket
price £8 each and it is BYO for both food and drinks.
Please
remember to bring glasses and plates, etc!!
This is always a good night and gives members and friends a chance
to shine on two legs instead of four for a change!
Tickets will be available early September from any committee member
or specifically from Malcolm as organiser on 01323 485580.
There will be a raffle for club funds so if you have anything to donate please let Malcolm know.
AGM
This year the AGM is slightly earlier than usual on Wednesday 20th October at The Roebuck, Laughton at 7.30 pm with a sit down supper at 9pm. The Agenda will be posted in mid September but please put this date firmly in your diary!
